Between 2010 and 2016 I travelled by bicycle around the world with a small music setup in my luggage, making musical sketches and recording sounds along the way. Much of that material remained unfinished for years. I’m now revisiting the archive and using some of those recordings and ideas as the starting point for new music. Cycling Soundscapes brings together piano, electronics, field recordings and sound, shaped by those years on the road. This is the beginning of a musical story I’d like to share.
